For the price you will not get a better Mexican Meal. I had the 12 inch Happy Burro burrito. It was so delicious. The red sauce got better with every bite. 3 Dollar Patron margarita was just the perfect drink to accompany the meal. Go there if you have the chance!

While staying in Needles when visiting the river, was told the food isn't that bad. Did not notice much other mexican choices in the area. Inside it does not look like a mexican place. The chips are freshly fried in vegtable oil, the salsa tasta like La Victoria. They give you a refried bean dip that was good. Cheep margaritas (but I live in LA so cheep for what I am used too). The wet burrito was good. If in the area, an OK place to eat. Give it a try.

Went here as part of a birthday party. Beans were HORRIBLE, watery and thin, rice had almost no flavor. Fahjitas were great though.

A five star Mexican restaurant in Mojave Valley? Surely you can't be serious. Yes I'm serious. And don't call me Shirley. Where do I start? When you sit down, you get chips and salsa. Not just chips and salsa, but chips and three types of salsa: mild, medium, and a very hot and very good verde. But wait, there's more! They serve you refried beans to dip your chips in as well. Refried beans! The soft drinks they bring you are huge! I'd guess 32 ounces. The food is fantastic. I had the chile colorado plate and the meat, the beans, the rice were all fantastic. The tortillas were very clearly home made. All of my friends were equally impressed with their food. The food is also cheap. $11 for my meal and drink after tax. The restaurant itself( i.e. decor) is nothing special, but the wait staff are friendly. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled pleasant. Needless to say, if you're in Needles I recommend trying Fiesta.

Arriba, arriba, arriba..... This is a family run business that really packs in the customers. As you enter the restaurant, you see maroon/rust colored lighting treatments that conjur up images of Aztecs. There are pictures of old Mexican families on the walls as well as some of the country's more colorful revolutionaries (Zapata and Villa). One thing I had never seen before at other Mexican restaurants was a small bowl of refried beans served alongside the spicy salsa. This was a small treat for this bean lover. It's like eating bean dip with your chips. Mmmmm. Another impressive quality is the size of their drinks. They don't have different sizes to choose from, they just bring out a large 32 ounce plastic cup for your iced tea, soda, or what have you. It's really cool, because you still get free refills. The service was great, the food was tasty. I chose a pork tamale with rice and beans for only $5 (+ change). Others at the table ordered the special (chile verde burrito with drink for only $5.25), a seafood tostada, and the flauta/enchilada plate. If you're not that much into beans, that's okay. The staff will honor requests for extra rice as a substitute for the beans. My pork tamale reminded me of my grandmother's tamales. The only thing I can say was that my food wasn't exactly on the hot side. It was just lukewarm. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I know we pretty much enjoyed our meal. Most likely I'd come back. For now I'll give this place 3.5 stars.

I USED to be impressed. But, then the celery and other fillers started making their way into the food. My husband and I will go back every once and awhile to see if things have changed. - Although the staff can be courteous (on a hit and miss basis) we are still discouraged.

These folks paid attention to latest yelp info? Been here many times before, but their Tues & Thurs $1.00 taco specials are out of the park! Plus, your choice of HB, machaca, chicken, & pork?! Wow! Fresh tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes & great salsa! The staff worked their butts off, most accomodating & efficient....friendly

The people that put out good reviews on this place, must be friends or relatives of the owner is all I can say! Ugh!

So my hubby has been raving about this place because they serve beans with their complimentary chips and salsa, but we haven't been able to go the last few times we were at the river since they close pretty early (9pm). We finally had a chance to go for dinner last Saturday night and we had a great time. You can't go wrong with the pitcher of margaritas. We had a group of 4 and finished two pitchers. And the food was pretty good. Not very many vegetarian options so we had the veggie tostada. It's basically a tostada shell with beans, rice, tons of shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes with a dollop of guacamole and sour cream. Nothing fancy but just the right portion. Service was good, friendly servers, pretty attentive and although they close at 9p, we were there until 9:45p while they were cleaning up and they didn't seem to mind. Will definitely come back on our next river trip.

Saw their street sign advertising $1 tacos so we pulled in. Not too bad! Had a great lunch menu with daily specials for $5.90 each. Service was efficient but not super friendly or chatty. We asked for an extra side of guacamole and sour cream and they gave it to us at no cost! Avoid using the bathrooms though ... they were repelling and the sink was missing a knob.

Service was AMAZING. Our waitress was KRISTIN and she did a memorable job. Our drink orders were taken the second we were seated. Our food orders were taken after reviewing the menu. Food was delivered no longer than 10 minutes after ordering. She suggested the Watermelon Margarita, and this is literally the BEST drink I've ever had! Made with real watermelon, not the nasty syrup, and was very light and refreshing. I'm a weekender here and will defiantly be back. With service, food and great prices this place is great! Thanks :)

Gotta tell ya, not too many places in this area have many yelp reviews. This makes finding good places tough while im out here. My friend suggested this place after a long day of my boat breaking down on the river I needed some alcohol. Small restaurant, clean but not updated at all (totally expected out this way though). What was really cool was when they bring you your chips and salsa they bring you a small bowl of refried beans to dip your chips in...it was so awesome! As far as the food goes it was pretty good I had a wet veggie burrito (next time I would ask for easy rice). The margaritas were really good and very cheap too. I will def be back on my next river trip

If you are looking for a good traditional Mexican food restaurant, here it is. When entering the restaurant from the parking lot, you can see the bar on your left hand side they make excellent Margaritas, my husband is not by far a Margarita drinker and he had 3..We quickly were served salsa & re-fried bean to dip into with tortilla chips YUMMY!! The favors are self-made and very tasty. With all the Mexican ingredients you can easily see, taste is gorgeous, but not overly hot. I can recommend Chile Verde burrito or Enchiladas with red sauce. I never order dessert because I never leave room, but you have to try the Deep fried ice cream is the bomb yes "THE BOMB" must have. I seriously love this place. Service is good and friendly

Well we did try the "Taco Tuesday" special,,,,,,,AWESOME! ! ! My wife had the ground beef and I had the shreaded beef, she loved hers and well, my mouth starts watering every time I think about the shreaded beef! The tacos were packed with meat, just incredible. So many times when a resturant has a special, they skimp on the quality, not here. We have never had anything but great food and service here, worth the trip fpr your dinning pleasure, WOW!

This restaurant is no good we took our family from out of town there today and had a very bad experience we ordered the beef taquitos the meat was spoiled. We told the waitress that the food was not good and didnt smell good either. The waitress smelled it and said yes it is bad ill let the cook know. She asked us if we wanted to order something else and we were too grossed out to order anything. We asked her for a refund. The owner then came out and accused us of ordering to much food. How dare him accusing us, my son threw up when we got home. He should have been a lot nicer I had to put a star in order to submit other wise it would have been a zero do not go there it's no good

I visited this restaurant twice in a weekend I must say they have the best Mexican food and margaritas in town , me and my fiancée were out visiting pirates cove and I must say we found a gem stumbling into this place , I ordered a blended lime margarita and my fiancé ordered a strawberry one they were nothing short of delicious and very well balanced , and we were greeted like family . So here's were it gets good so we get seated and out come fresh made tortilla chips along with 2 types of salsa and fresh pinto beans with cheese and i was blown away the green salsa verde was amazing I ate the whole basket of chips . So we go on and order I had chicken flautas and my fiancé orders the same and when the plate arrives and they are huge flour tortillas were crispy and fresh hmmm so I took a bite and they were a perfect balance of chicken and cheese and the Flavor was perfect not to mention they pair them with sour cream and avocado and lettuce so perfect my fiancé had the same on our second visit on Sunday . Second time around I tried different margaritas , Midori margarita and strawberry and of course a bowl of there menudo . This restaurant has my business every time I visit the area I will recommend to all that visit Laughlin bullhead or any surrounding areas this place will make your day as it did mine . Authentic Mexican cuisine at it's finest .

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
